Bench leads Celtics to victory on Mike and Tommy Night

The Celtics beat the Pacers 92-80 on Mike and Tommy Night. First off, Mike and Tommy are awesome at life. Mike Gorman is one of the best commentators in the business. While Tommy might be biased, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about the game.

Speaking of the game, the Celtics got a great performance out of Green tonight with 19 points. Green and Krstic have both played very well since they were acquired. It's Rondo that has been the issue. Speaking of Rondo, he had another sub par night with 0 points and rebounds. He did drop 8 dimes but that is unacceptable. I understand you lost your best friend but this is the NBA and stuff happens. Deal with it.

Pierce had a great game with 20 points on 6-12 from the field. Garnett and Allen were relatively quiet with 10 and 12 points each respectively.  The bench for this team is as good as it has ever been. Green, Murphy, Delonte,  Big Baby, and Arroyo all made contributions. With Shaq back this team is going to be able to go 10 deep. It was great to be able to rest most of our starters in the 4th quarter.

Indiana is a decent team. Hansborough, one of my favorite college players ever, had a terrible game after averaging over 25 points his last 5 games. Josh McRoberts who I once thought was the worst player in the league actually looked pretty good out there. The Pacers are definitely an up and coming team.

Overall a pretty solid win for the Celtics. Murphy looks better. Green can dominate at times. Delonte had a couple huge plays and looked pretty healthy. The one concern I have is Rondo. If he doesn't play at an all star level it doesn't matter who we have, we just won't win. Next game vs. Houston on Friday.
