Match Made In Heaven?

Kyle Singler is a 4 year college player, with a National Championship while playing under one of the greatest minds in basketball history. He's a 22 year old, 6'8" small forward, who can shoot from the outside, and understands how to play defense. DraftExpress.com projects him to be Mike Miller in the best case, and Matt Barnes in the worst case. Singler to The C's would be very fitting due to the fact that Doc Rivers coached Mike Miller his rookie year, and of course Miller won rookie of the year in that season.

Singler comes from a 2007 High School Class that has already taken the NBA by storm. Derrick Rose, Kevin Love, and Blake Griffin have made All-Star games. Eric Gordon, Michael Beasley, Jonny Flynn, and James Harden are starters. In The 2007 McDonalds All-American Game, Kyle Singler started alongside Derrick Rose, Eric Gordon, Kevin Love, and Michael Beasley for The West (who won). This kid can play with the best of them.

Aside from Kyle's actual physical and athletic ability, he has the experience and leadership that could allow him to immediately make an impact on an older team like the Celtics. This season has shown that Boston's doors are much more welcoming to players with college experience. Luke Harangody has clearly had an advantage over the younger and less mature Avery Bradley. Simply put... the more experience you have the more intelligent you are, on a team with championship aspirations and future Hall of Famers, you're expected to know what's going on.

PS. I know it's VERY early to be talking the draft, but with the Marquis Daniels injury exposing a lack of depth at the Small Forward... I think this kid should be a lock if he falls to the C's. Especially with the Barnes and Miller comparisons, Boston fans have been spreading rumors of those two for that past 3 seasons.
