KG turns to his dark side as the C's rally back in the 3rd

After a poor first half despite the greatness of Rondo the Celtics have stormed back in the 3rd quarter. As my dinner and the bench performance in the first half left me feeling sluggish I chose to stay away from the keys, but the Celtics have me inspired after one heck of a start to the 2nd half. KG met Dalembert to the rim and the reaction of intensity was nothing short of awesome. Then a few minutes later KG striped Landry in the backcourt, dove on the lose ball, found Rondo who found Ray Allen who ran to the left corner for the money ball. Quite a CELTIC BASKETBALL sequence.

The Celtics are now willing the game in their favor as they have dug in defensively and are attacking the Kings ar every opportunity. This is the way they need to end this road trip. Lets hope the bench can provide something here early in the 4th and have the Green in position to close this thing out.

Oh, and the four Celtics all-stars are all in double figures, Rondo through three quarters has put up 17 points, 8 assists and 4 steals.

Rondo to Perkins on the break to start the 4th, make that 9 assists for #9

Tonight in Sacramento 9:31 PM.
One of the things I have really enjoyed about our current Celtics is their road warrior mindset. Tonight is the end of a four game road trip and after the impressive win against its rival on national TV I have this feeling the Celtics will be very locked in from the get go tonight. The Kings have been playing real well as of late and you can bet that they have the Celtics attention after wins over the Lakers and the Hornets. Before defeating the Lakers, Boston got beaten in Phoenix, it was an ugly night that featured, well, we all remember Javie's ego, and more of Javie's ego. (I still can't believe Doc was ejected) There is no way that happens tonight, no way the Celtics come out and even let the Kings think they have a chance, well, that is the type of game I am hoping to watch.

Coach is dug in deep into an NBA/NCAA evening tonight with the UNC @ BC on the laptop and Kansas @ Texas Tech on the TV. With the Celtics following at 10pm there should be some things to talk about. So if I order the right take out to get me going some running commentary tonight could be as likely as KG forcing DeMarcus Cousins into two early fouls and then a technical.

3-1 will be a good trip.

Thirty minutes until tip.
