The Turkish Wonder leads Celtics to 12th straight

Welcome to the big leagues Semih Erden. Erden scored 10 points on 5-6 shooting helping the Celtics to their 12th straight victory 102-90 over the reeling Atlanta Hawks in Boston. Look, there were obviously many other reasons the Celtics won this game. but how many times am I going to get to say Turkish Wonder in a blog recap this year? Anyway, solid win tonight. The Celtics are missing half their rotation so we can't really judge how good this team can be. What I do know is we would definitely have lost a game like this last year.

Big Baby is a certified beast of the highest quality so his 18 points shouldn't be a surprise. Ray, Paul and Garnett combined for a solid 50 points. Nate chipped in 14 though he made some bone headed plays. If he's going to start for the next couple weeks he needs to get under control a bit. Still love the little guy though.

The Hawks just aren't that good anymore. Josh Smith sucks. People like him piss me off because they have so much talent and don't really seem to work at their games. You play basketball for a living. That's the greatest job in the world. Go to the gym and develop a post game. Jeff Teague destroyed Bradley tonight for that 4 minute stretch. Tough to watch.  Bradley is very far from competing on this level.

One more note, this is the best broadcast team around. Mchale, Kerr, and the cross dressing legend himself Marv Albert are awesome at life. They should do every game. If the Celtics can weather the storm for the next two weeks until Rondo comes back they will be in good shape. This team doesn't take off games this year though they didn't take off games last year until this point either. Looking forward to continuing the streak Sunday.
