After a scary first half in which the Nets led by 12 after the first quarter and seven at the break, the Celtics turned on their burners and dominated the third frame. Ray Allen scored all 14 of his points in that quarter and Boston won it 36-16 to take a 13 point lead going into the final twelve minutes. The bench held the league in the final minutes to preserve the victory.
Von Wafer played roughly 12 minutes and score eight points on 3-6 shooting from the field and 2-2 from beyond the arc. His main competition for the 15th spot, Stephane Lasme, played only three minutes and recorded an empty stat sheet. I expected Lasme to get more time as I personally think he is the better player.
Regardless, the tune-up games are over, get ready for the Heat! Stephen Bailey 10/20/2010 10:33:00 PM Tweet
