Quantcast

Looks like this might be the Summer Tom Thibodeu finally gets his chance at the #1 seat. The Hornets, Clippers, and Sixers all plan on speaking with Thibs. Danny Ainge said,"He's a very good coach. Everyone with a job opening should take the time to talk about Tom." If Thibodeu goes, it's extremely important that the Celtics hire a quality defensive assistant coach. I remember when Danny came in and he let Dick Harter go and our defense went immediately south (Harter landed on his feet in Indiana, which coincidentally coincided with their run of stellar seasons). Can't repeat that mistake again.

Wasn't Harter in Indiana before Boston? He was Bird's assistant in 2000 when they made the Finals, no? Then I felt he followed Jim O'Brien to Philly and maybe back to Indiana now? I suppose I can Google this but don't feel like it lol.

Regardless, Harter was horrific as a head coach, I think in Charlotte. I've said it before I don't think Thibbodeu will make a good head coach....
