NBA Ramblings- April 23rd

Will they ever stop with the in-game interviews of the coach?  They're so unnatural and awkward to begin with, interfering in the midst of a heated contest to ask questions that are pretty dumb to begin with.  And with people like Whistlin Phil, Greg Popovich and Stan Van Gundy's short and snide answers, it's even more uncomfortable than imaginable.......Brandon Jennings had 5 shots blocked in Game 1 vs the Hawks and 4 in Game 2.  I'd say he's becoming Glen Davis but that'd be unfair to Jennings since he's about 5'9.  That's right, Dominique (who does the Hawks games) during Game 2 mentioned Jennings as being about 5'9 and with Rondo posting him up as much as he did that last game of the season, there may be some truth to it......Speaking of Glen Davis that stat aired on TNT the other night amazed me- 18% of his shots get blocked.  He was 2% higher than the next highest guy, Chuck Hayes.  If that's not an indication for him to kick it back out I don't know what is.......
Does Rick Carlisle age?  Look at the picture of him above on the Celtics and then to the side where he's a coach.  They look about 1 year apart while in actuality they're 20-25 years apart.  I need to ask him where the Fountain of Youth is located.......I gotta admit I was miffed by that call on Tony Allen in Game 2 where he "punched the ball" and was credited with a turnover.  Wonder why that's a rule.......In case you missed it, our favorite coach here at Celticslife stepped down, but will remain in the front office with the Hornets.  Too bad we won't be able to make fun of how he looks more like a mechanic than a basketball coach.......Anyone watch Eric Snow on NBATV?  He has the personality of a piece of  cardboard.  For people with sleep problems NBA TV should promote a tape of him talking.  His voice is monotone, he's incredibly dry and provides as much insight as Tom Tolbert.  Please replace him, with any former NBA player with a pulse, except for Tim Hardaway.
