Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut's season is likely over.

Bogut suffered a dislocated right elbow, sprained wrist and broken right hand after an awkward fall in a victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, the team announced late Saturday.

"Andrew was examined at the Bradley Center by team orthopaedic physician Dr. Michael Gordon and then taken to Aurora Sinai Medical Center by ambulance for more tests," Bucks GM John Hammond said in a statement.

"Further testing and imaging at Aurora Sinai showed that Andrew sustained a dislocated right elbow, a sprained right wrist and a broken right hand. He was released from the hospital and no timetable has been determined for his return."
Poor guy. The injury looks horrible. Very Shaun Livingston like. Video of the Bogut fall after the jump (Practically NSFW stuff). There goes the Bucks season and they will probably be the easiest first round opponent now. They are the 6th seed as of today, but look for them to drop down to #7 by the end of the season. That would match them up with the Magic. Howard should average 30 and 20 against them.

    Poor Bucks... :(

This is when I think that our Big 3 should rest for the final 5 games of the season. Let them play today vs Cleveland and then protect them until the post season

  2. JR says:

Yeah we're on the same page on that. I would MUCH prefer a healthy and rested #4 seed Celtics than a tired and beat up possible 3 seed, but most likely 4 seed. We're going to have to play Orlando and Cleveland in rounds 2 and 3. I personally don't care about the order, so the #3 or #4 seed thing is of the smallest importance to me.

  3. Bohemian says:

Yep, and I think it's more important to determine which players will be in the playoffs rotation. This final games should be meant to give big minutes to the TA/Marquis and Baby/Shelden battles for example.

My God that was the worst thing I've EVER seen- it tops the Livingston thing and when Pervis Ellison's knee bent the wrong way...

  5. Karl says:

Wow, sucks for the Bucks, he's a really good player. They would've been a tough first round opponent.

I really like Bogut and he seems like a good guy. If something like this HAD to happen, couldn't it be to Bean, LeBron, Varejeao or Fisher? Would that be asking too much?
