Perkins voted 5th slowest NBA player

Kendrick Perkins got a mention in this week’s Sports Illustrated, but it’s ink he could easily do without.

The weekly players’ poll sought the find out just who is the slowest player in the NBA from baseline to baseline.

Fortunately for the Celtics [team stats]’ center, he didn’t win this race either. But he did manage to cross the finish line in fifth place.

Confronted with the harsh results before scoring seven points in last night’s 113-99 win over the Denver Nuggets, Perkins replied with a hearty, “Oh, man.”
That's an ego blow. Do you all think he's that slow? By the way, Big Z finished in first (last?), with Shaq, Yao, and Aaron Gray coming in 2nd through 4th respectively.
