The Boston Celtics announced Tuesday that guard Lester Hudson has been assigned to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League. Not the best sign for a 25 year old rookie, especially if you consider the C's are light at the point guard position. Sort of like a High School Junior being sent down to JV. Maybe this is why he looked rather down after Ray's big shot last night. Hopefully he tears up the D-League and becomes a player for the Celtics (think Will Bynum, but with us retaining him).

Doc has explained that this is just a short assignment to get him some run, but I for one would much rather see him take TA's spot and slide Eddie up, let him swim with the big dogs. He's way too good for the D-League, but given Doc's pension for vets I bet he doesn't see meaningful mins until next year...
I think they'd have been better off keeping Pruitt.
Yeah Reg, after the original report Doc's comments came out which give Hudson more hope, but still his odds aren't great.
TB regarding Pruitt. I just didn't like his lack of motor. I think he had proven he wasn't an NBA player, so time for someone new.
I liked Gabe's omnipresent smile.
lol TB. How long until a WTHHT on Gabe?
