Kobe Bryant tops Sporting News’ list of the 50 greatest players in the NBA today, as selected by a panel of 107 Hall of Famers, major award winners, executives, current players and coaches and other basketball experts.

    Shaq, Lamar, T-Mac, Boozer, Nene, Bynum and Villanueva don't belong in the top 50. There are others that are questionable or certainly way too high. Artest isn't top 30. Hedo, Horford and Baron are too high as well.

    Altogether this is a weak list.

    Ron Artest in the top 30??? yeah right... also Jefferson, Bynum, Villanueva...this is a very bad list beyond the top 20. Also the order of the top 20 players is also very debatable.
