Their wins have been against the Clippers, Knicks, Pistons, Bulls, Grizzlies, Hornets, Rockets and 2 against the Thunder. Not really the most formidable of opponents. They've had 2 good wins against Phoenix and Atlanta, both of which were home.
Imagine the Celtics not leaving the Boston-NY-NJ-PA area for a month? That'd be nice for a veteran squad.
Here's hoping that schedule comes back to bite them in the ass.

Good facts tb - it seemed like they had a soft early schedule, but I didn't realize how soft.

ThomasJ- indeed. I wanted to figure out the winning percentage of the teams they played but didn't feel like doing the math lol.
Basically I think the Thunder are close to .500, and every other team is below. Some like the Pistons, Knicks, Clippers, VERY much below...
The conspiracy theorist would say that Whistling Phil wasn't sure if he could coach this year coming off of surgery and was considering only coaching the Lakers home games, so Stern hooked up the early season schedule for the Lakers so Phil Jackson would have more time to recuperate from surgery.

I think the Clippers moved because they think they going to get 18,997 a night. There own arena capacity is only 16,161 and that probably where they average right now.

Yeah makes sense. You'd think they'd want their own fan base though. It's like the Nets will always be in the shadow of the Knicks. Perhaps if they move to Brooklyn they'll get a following of their own.
So are we big time now that we have Lakers fans posting insults on our site? lol. And the whole rationale that there are so many teams sharing the same arena doesn't support your argument at all. In fact it makes the Lakers getting so many home games in a short period even more strange. San diego and Anaheim don't want the Clippers. Maybe Buffalo will take them back. ;)

What insult? The person who wrote this insult the Lakers home schedule like it was there fault. Another insult calling the Lakers Fakers and I have no problem with the name lol.
No I simply stated that if the Celtics had a similar schedule where they didn't leave Mass, NY, NJ, or PA for a month, at any point in the season, that it would be great and I'd take it. No other team has any schedule comparable to theres.
My mistake thought it was someone us that wrote this.
