Ainge makes some jokes about the original Big 3, but their pretty mild. He should of gone the drinking/smoking direction if he really wanted to get some laughs. Ainge seems in good spirits. That's good to see. Getting back to the term "The Big 3," who originally coined the phrase? I believe it also had a lot to do with the fact that the C's front-court featured three players 6'10" and up. Now the term is used so casually. I'm sure TB727's good friend Chris Wallace is referring to AI/Mayo/Randolph as the Big 3 down in Memphis.
